How do I use my Limelens lenses?

What do I get inside my Limelens case?

Included in your Limelens case are two lenses (The Thinker – Wide/Macro lens and The Captain – Supreme Fisheye lens), three Limeclips (each of the three designed to fit a variety of devices, see compatibility here), lens cleaners, an instruction sheet, alignment disc and three stickers.

Will the flash on my smartphone or tablet be obstructed by my Limelens or Limeclip?
The Limeclips will not obstruct your smartphone’s flash. So you can use your flash freely when not using your Limelens. However, once you attach your Limelens you will not be able to use your device flash – and we recommend avoiding the flash altogether when crafting your photographic beauties. The flash on your device creates unflattering and unnatural harsh lighting. Rather take advantage of the sky’s optimal and equally distributed light which softens shadows and offers richer colours for better photos.
Is my smartphone cover or screen protector compatible with Limelens lenses?

Your Limelenses and LimeClip will work with your screen protector, no problem. However, the Limeclip will need to be attached to the back of your smartphone, not the back of your smartphone cover. Your smartphone case may fit over the Limeclip, depending on the flexibility of your case material. However we do not guarantee that it will be a perfect fit and we recommend that you remove your smartphone case before attaching your Limelens. Alternatively, you can make use of the smartphone border cases available here.

Can I use my lens to record videos on my smartphone?
Yes! You can perform all the same functions your smartphone camera has to offer, just with wider angles and incredible detail.
Are my Limelens lenses waterproof?
Limelenses have not learned to swim just yet! But watch this space.
Do you offer single lenses?

This is something we’re working on. However our lenses are currently only available as a full set, which includes three different lenses; our 190 degree Fisheye and dual Macro and Wide Angle lens.

Will your lenses make my smartphone picture quality better?

The quality of your smartphone photographs are determined by hardware factors including megapixels and image sensors that vary between smartphone models. These will determine the clarity of your images and how vivid/accurate the colours are. Our lenses, however, do not have any effects on these; rather, they provide a greater choice of focal ranges and perspectives for your device’s camera.


What do I do if I have a payment issue?

You may email us your payment query at and our team will get back to you promptly.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders are shipped within two working days of receiving the payment. Depending on which shipping option you choose, your order can take up to five working days to arrive at your destination. However, we offer shipping with USPS First Class Mail and overnight options from UPS for urgent orders.
